Akira meets Yoshi at a bar in Shinjuku’s gay district. Despite Yoshi being married, however, the two develop romantic feelings for each other. One day, Yoshi’s wife informs Akira of Yoshi’s sudden passing, instantly breaking his heart and sending him into the depths of despair. Akira is consoled by the bar owner and has one-night stands with other young men, but the clouds in his heart remain. Troubled by a misunderstanding he had with Yoshi shortly before he died, Akira leaves the hustle and bustle of the city to mourn at the peaceful coast where he and Yoshi shared many fond memories. As he walks along the long coastline and beautiful sandy beaches, memories of Yoshi come flooding back…
